January Wishlist

Clockwise from lipstick;

I've been doing a lot of online browsing over the past week (my whole life), and I'm trying to make everything I do a productive exercise so ladies and gentlemen, I present to you..

My first ever wish list!

Before we get into it, I would first like to point out my fabulous Photoshopping skills. I was sick of seeing wish list posts with a plain background so I thought I'd jazz mine up a little.

Lime Crime Lipstick
I have been searching for a black lipstick since I saw Louise wear it at Spencer's party in Season 2 of Made in Chelsea. I'm a tab obsessive when it comes to MIC...Getting off track here, the point I'm trying to make is, that to my delight Lime Crime stock a fabulous opaque one for $18, which converts roughly to €13. Delighted!
Not only am I in love with the colour, I'm also head over heels for the packaging! They have unicorns on their lipsticks, just let that awesomeness sink in...

UNIF Holographic Bomber Jacket
Whoever decided that holograhpic things should be a fashion trend, is a sheer genius. I just can't get enough of it; shoes, bags, chokers, everything!
This beauty takes the top place though. I stumbled upon this jacket on Dolls Kill and I have to say, I think it has stolen my heart.Again, the price is in dollars, so it works out at about €99 once converted.
Is it terrible to say that I'm really tempted?

Topshop Platforms
As many of you may have read in one of my previous posts, which you can read here, I am showing off my MC skills at an upcoming fashion show.I bought an unbelievable jumpsuit to wear for the night and it has a really funky 70's vibe to it, and I thought these heels would be perfect to complete the look.
Be prepared to see these in upcoming OOTDs.

Blackmilk Leoglas Dress
Firstly, if you do not regonise the beautiful specimen that is the centre piece of this dress, then you need to click out of this page right-now and watch the Lord of the Rings Triology and the two released parts of the Hobbits....Have you done that?
Right, then you may continue.
Leoglas has always been my favourite character in LOTR, and I literally think my favouritism borders on unhealthy most of the time.
Basically, this dress is the only way I will ever have Legolas on my body outside of my dreams.

Asos Oversized T-shirt
This is going to sound kind of boring, but I'm in dire need of an oversized white t-shirt. I can't even count the amount of times that I have woken up and wished I had a massive t-shirt to throw on over leggings so I didn't have to think about what to wear for the day.
I found this one on Asos for €21 and I'm definitely purchasing it when pay day comes around
Right now that seems like an eternity away. *sigh*

Okay guys, I know that this post was a lot than it needed to be. But we made it through together, and I think our bond is stronger for it.

Shall we have more bonding time? ;)

Let me know what you thought of this kind of post, I had loads of fun writing it!

Mucho love,

Sinead

OOTD - Rebel

Lipstick - MAC Rebel
Hat - Camden Market (Similar)
Jewellery - Penneys/Primark
Leotard - Penneys/Primark
Pants - Bershka
Boots - TK Maxx (Similar)

Hello my lovelies!

It's been ages since I last posted a OOTD and this page was in need of a few new pictures of my face.

I should address the opened pants thing straight away; the zip broke just before we starting shoot and I didn't want to change, so I thought they would look cool opened.

Disaster avoided!

Everything in this post bar the boots, which I bought last week in TK Maxx, are old. Sorry guys!

Let me know what you think!

Mucho love,

Sinead

Moschino - Pre Fall 2014

Our boy from Kansas city has done it!
He has shunned the non-believers and surpassed all his followers expectations. Three days ago, Jeremy Scott took to Instagram to preview his Pre-Fall 2014 collection, which Vogue has described as "totally entertaining"
First thing to catch my eye was, of course, this fantastic cow-print backpack:

Jeremy has thought of everything for this collection, creating something that will please every girl in fashion.

From the demure and sophisticated fashionista's of New York...

...to the girl who dresses 'for the irony':

Many of the designs jumped out at me, but this one spoke to me. I've always been a fan of the baseball jumper trend. It's probably got something to do with the fact that I always wished I was an American cheerleader dating the hottest jock in high-school (Anyone else? No? Okay then). If you were never a fan, here's the design to make you a believer! For all you street-style bloggers, Scott solves the age of problem of "WHO ARE YOU WEARING?". Just turn your back to those paps, and let it be known.  I envision Miley rocking this in the next few months. Mark my words!

I also have to address the fact that Jeremy has used one of my favourite colour combinations of all times in abundance in this collection, black and gold. It's as if he made this collection for me.

Jeremy's got you covered!

The collection on whole is oozing with fun, but not to the extend where nothing is wearable. Jeremy Scott has lived up to Franco Moschino's aesthetic, while staying true to himself in the process.  If this is anything to go by, then we are in for a treat in February.

Basically, Jeremy Scott is a god.

I would love to know what you think on the collection, which you can see in full here.

Mucho love,

Sinead

Aspirations for 2014

Evening all!

How are you all settling into 2014?

I'm writing the cliché 'Welcome to 2014' post, but I thought I'd do it a little differently. I've never been that great with resolutions. I feel like the minute I make them I'm breaking them again and I always feel disheartened that I'm not able to keep them.

So this year I've decided that instead of thinking of things I want to change in my life, I'm going to write about things I would like to achieve this year!

Blog more.
I hate the fact that I'm writing this one, because I feel like every blogger has this on their list. But the reason I'm writing this one is because when I blog, I actually feel good and that I've accomplished something. I'm not even going to bother saying that I'll blog everyday, because I know right well I won't. So I'm going to aspire to write three times a week. That seems do-able in my head!

Speaking of my blog..
I should probably address the complete make-over its had. I've changed the name, look and feel of my blog and I'm so pleased. I finally feel that my blog is beginning to represent me more and I really think this will inspire me to blog more frequently.

Document things more.
This year is the year that I will take pictures more and journal more. The more I experience, the more I realise that when I'm older I'm going to want to look back on all the good and bad that I've seen in my life. I also read today about an awesome concept called 365grateful, where you keep a scrapbook and take a picture of one thing you are grateful for each day. I'm definitely going to start this soon, and will keep you updated possibly on a weekly basis on the pictures I take.

Travel
The summer of 2013 saw me travel to Boston, New Hampshire and South Carolina. This summer I want to explore a little bit more of Europe. I'm planning to travel back to Belgium for the third time to attend the amazing mixed genre, Dour. Florence, home of Ezio Auditore, is also a city I'm craving to explore.

Learn a new skill.
I'm a firm believer in the need to keep your mind active. Recently, I've been really digging the idea of cosplaying, and most cosplayers make their own costumes. Therefore, this year I hope to learn how to sew well and begin making my own costumes.

Say yes more!
In the past I've been notorious for backing out of events and opportunities. Partially because of fear but more so as a result of pure laziness. Towards the end of 2013 I improved, but I am determined to banish this laziness in 2014 and open my mind to anything that comes my way!

What are your aspirations for 2014?

Mucho love,

Sinead
